I have a Mac clone which has a G3 processor in it. Just installed Smart and Friendly driver for my (New) SCSI Smart and Friendly CD turbowriter RW. System 8.6 sees the drive but does not recognize the logic. Can anyone tell me what I need to do?-Besides buy a new computer. Thanks. Jill

First check your system profile under the "Apple" menu to see if the system see the CD-ROM. It helps if you have a CD in the drive before running Apple Profile. You need to look as the "Device" tab to see if the CD-ROM was picked by the system software and that it mounted the CD. If all is fine, then you want to use a program names "SCSIProbe" which will indentfy any SCSI ID conflicts.
BTW, I use Toast (CD Extension) version 4 for my Smart and Friendly CD turbowriter RW.
