Windows 3.11 is not an operating sytem. It's only a graphical interface that requires dos to run in. You will need 3 things.

1: DOS drivers to enable the pcmcia port of your laptop, it's called card services.
2: DOS drivers for the actual pcmcia card.
3: Then finally, DOS drivers for the actual drive.

I suggest you visit the laptop manfacturers website to see if they still offer drivers for this obsolete equipment. But don't be surprise to find it not listed or not available. PCMCIA drives have went the way of the dinasaur. They have not been built in several years. Manufacturers have opted for USB and IDE drives and have pretty much abandoned the PCMCIA line.
