HELP!!! Basically the scenario is i brought a PC home from work for the purpose of connecting to my Virgin media broadband. I did a clean install of XP and tried to set up my broadband, however it said that there was no Ethernet Controller.
I tried deleting and seeing if windows could find the right driver but without success. Virgin advised me to get the correct driver set and install them. I have been on the HP compaq website, but have not got a clue what drivers to download - can anyone help???

You don't post a network adapter request in the Hard Disk Controller forum. We have a forum for Network Cards so your thread has been moved to the matching forum.

If you expect any help, you need to identify your network adapter or at least say what Compaq system it came installed in. And you need to say what the number is you provided.... ie: HPD530 SFF. Is that a hard disk controller number, a network adapter number, or something else?
