Hi, I have emachine M2350 laptop, I have been going nut trying to find the ethernet driver for it, I looked at the emachine web site with no luck, I need help to find the right driver and how to install it please.. any help is greatly appreciated.
I have the recovery cd and i installed it many times but no luck.

Recovery disks contain all necessary drivers to make all the on-board hardware work. If you have the recovery disks, you already have more than we can offer you.

Our problem is we have no clue what ethernet device eMachines installed in your laptop. Even if we did, that would not help because laptops cannot use generic drivers... it must use specific drivers from the laptop maker. Attempting to install generic drivers will result in a fail install. All I can suggest is to make use of the recovery disks that came with your laptop because you probably won't get a better offer. That's what recovery disks are for... to put the system back in the same condition it was in when you bought it.

Please consult your laptop documentation on how to do a recovery process.

thanks for your reply, I have tried the recovery discks many times and still came up with the same problem. a yellow mark on the ethernet controller and the driver is missing. is there a way I can downloaded from the recovery cd without going thru the whole process of recovery?

I can't answer that because I don't know the file structure of the recovery disks. You can try looking for DRIVERS on the disk to see.
