You will never find a driver looking for "82801 db". There are only a few sound chipset makers in the world... namely Realtek, Cmedia, ADI Soundmax, and Sigmatel. I'd bet a weeks wages it's one of those 4. Please say if this sound device is integrated on a motherboard, the motherboard brand and model, and say if it came installed on a retail motherboard or OEM pc system. If OEM, please give us the brand and model of pc.

I know more about this type of soundcard. The motherboard is called aopen and it is integrated. When i tried to install the correct drivers from Aopen.com the computer restarted suddenly. Another thing, the power led wasnt connected and the computer was working correctly. When i connected the power led Windows gave me an error: Keyboard locked out - Unlock key. Removed cable and no error anymore :yell:

I would buy a new soundcard to solve ur problem, just dont lose ur drivers that u get with the cd. It's also a good idea to get a new motherboard. Ask for advice in stores.
