Marvell doesn't provide end user support. They make wholesale products for the pc market. Support would need to come from whomever made the pc that this product came installed in. According to your statement, that should be Acer.

If Acer shipped this system in one of their pc's and it was shipped with Windows XP installed on it, then you should have no problems finding a driver from Acer.

If you require further assistance, you will need to state the model of the Acer
machine it came installed in.

Hey judmund,

I had a similar problem 'til yesterday. I assume you have internet access from another method, since you have posted here, here are several ways to get what you need. I learned that HP Tech Support uses Google when they can't solve problems. (1) "Type" Yukon PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller on Google & select from the list, this one was Marvell Yukon 88E8056. (2) You can also download PC Wizard from a Google search, install it on your system & it will help you to see what your hardware is, even if there is no driver installed. (3) If that doesn't help & you don't see the number on Acer spec sheet, open up your computer case & get the model number off of the motherboard, this one was in the middle. "Type" that number on google & you might find out who made it & go there, this one was Gigabyte & I was able to get audio drivers from them. I am a self taught computer build/repair/install geek as a hobby. This Acer Aspire AST180-UA381B belongs to an auto body shop in North Carolina, they bought it with Vista 64-bit & needed XP Pro 64-bit for a program. It is now completed. If you need further assistance, my e-mail is race45dude@yahoo.com, I will be happy to help.
