I am not able to access the network places contents. The main problem is that as i click on network place, i can access the mapped folders.but as i click on "view workgroup computers". its shows all the computer on network.but when i click on any particular computer to access from view comgroup computers it says "computer name is not accessible. yoy might not have the permissions to use this network resource.contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have the access permissions. ACCESS IS DENIED."

All the systems are pinging to each other and the we can access internet sharing.but we are not able to access the computers.
plz help me out.Give me some strong solution.asap.

cheque whether netwok computer's hard disk drive is shared or not? if the drives are not shared than you are going to face these kind of problems.

do you have a third paty firewall ie Norton Personall firewall, etc

i dont know if this can help but i use to have the same problem with my xp professional computers

wath i did is to go to the security policies in control panel administrative tools, security options and change the line that saids

domain member: digitally encrypt or sign "domain controls or domain acces or secure channel data" (always) i dont remember but it always works

you disable this and you can acces all shares and services.
