i am getting a error in windows xp
a microsoft error reporting comes and says windows explorer has
encountered a problem and needs to be close
when i click on send error report
the windows restarts again
tell me what to do
i have intel p4 processor
224 ram

Try to reinstall ur internet explorer version.it might help you out.

i checked microsoft.com
but there are only updates available for ie
now what to do...

the specific error message is
windows explorer has encountered a problem and needs to be close we are sorry for the inconvenience
and when i click on microsoft send error report the windows restarts again
and this is also the same problem that is happening in IE

It's pretty unusual to get that error without an indication of the file(s) causing the error message.
You should be able to figure out what is causing this problem by reading the information at the links below:
