I recently started life at a college dormitory, and because the school is nice, they have an ethernet connection available for the students here. Now, before I got here, I was on 56k dial-up. The problem is, I can't seem to set the ethernet connection as my default connection. I hae no idea how. Not too big a deal, but because of it I am having difficulties logging on to MSN, using Microsoft's Help and Support thing (when did we even have to be online for that?) and during download (I'll click to try to download say, a song, and the dial-up window will open. Unfortunately, my dial-up is no longer available to me, so I close the window, and then whatever site I'm at gives me an error message). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
