Hi I am running windows vista 64 bit ultimate edition my setup is as follows:-
Asus m2n4 sli motherboard with amd 64X2 4200 processor
Two nvidia 8600GT 512mb graphics cards sli config
8Gb ddr2 ram
Sounds all well and good and was while running xp but since "upgrading" I have no onboard sound and I cannot run both graphics cards . I have used the toolkit but it shows nothing that is suitable . Does anyone out there know how to help.
The driver I have installed for graphics cards is from nvidia date 11/9/07 version 17.15.11.6369
Sound driver is RealtekAC'97 date 03/05/2007 version 6.0.1.6241
I have also downloaded latest bios from Asus but to no avail .

My Vista computer has a different driver than the Realtek driver you have. Go back to their site and download the Realtek High Definition Audio driver. The AC97 was used with XP. http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3
