Recently came across this problem with a HP Pavilion XT 936 computer using the Trigem (Santa Fe) motherboard.
Of the companies listed that have a history of these bad capacitors I have not seen HP on the lists but this motherboard had them.
It does not appear HP (and many others) is going to admit to using the defective capacitors. (Luxon Electronics and others).
Many people report replacing the capacitors brought the systems back to life but always test the power supply after a motherboard failure.
This HP system uses the SFX power supply (ATX 1523D) and it was bad.
