I am trying to download iplayer.exe for windows XP Pro but the comment there says it's missing a component. Any guidance?

impossible! exe files cannot be missing a component. zip or rar files can but not exe files. If you need the file then download it. Whoever posted that comment failed to describe their problem correctly. I think a more accurate comment would have been "other files may be needed to run this exe file".

iplayer.exe is a file placed on your hard drive when installing EMC9 (along with other files). It's the file that launches Interactive Player. If it needs other files (or components as you refer to them) to run, then those files would have to come from the application that installed them originally.
