I too, have an issue with this drive (actually the UJDA775): I get the error that my color/resolution setting may be too high. Once I change them (according ot the DVD troubleshooter) and restart, I have the same problem. The drive plays audio CDs, CDROM, but not the DVD.

Any ideas?

All support for playing dvd disks is provided by dvd decoding software. What dvd decoding software/version do you have installed?
