Your drive doesn't require any driver. It's provided with the OS. Please state what the problem is and include some details.

Yes, the DVD/CD-RW drive requires a Firmware Update because it cannot read all the new DVD Double Layer (DL). For example, I put a DVD DL in it and the light was on without doing anything. After a few searches on Google, I found out there is an update for Sony. Of course, it won't work on a Toshiba. You can check at: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=PCGK13&UpdateType=Updates and you'll see on 04/08/2005 for UJDA750.

Firmware and drivers are not the same thing. The creator of this thread asked for a driver. Your statement has nothing to do with the original question asked.
