hey i am having trouble with the gateway ev500 card about every 30 mins to a hour it locks up my computer is there anything i can do or any drivers to download to fix this problem

since a gateway ev500 is a MONITOR and not a video card, we will be unable to attempt help till you actually determine WHAT video card you actually have.

semi random lockups that take a somewhat constant time to appear are usually HEAT related. open case start system, check all cooling fans and make sure that nothing blocks the system air intake/outlets in the front and back of the system.
