liteon lh-52cip187c is a combo drive 52xcd-rw & 16x dvd rom. Windows will not reconize the drive/s. Maybe help with how to get computer to show on My Computer. I installed 1 before and had no problem.I changed 2 in tower and tried everything I can think of to get itonline and failed. Thanks

Optical drives NEVER require a driver other than the one Microsoft includes with the Windows XP OS. If drive is not detected (ie: not visible in My Computer and Device Manager), then you need to perform the "delete upper and lower filters fix" as instructed in many previous threads and also in the sticky in this forum. Please do some reading BEFORE posting.
