I have just got a Vivitar Vivicam 3720 for taking quick snaps etc.
It works fine under XP and Vista, WITHOUT drivers, as long as you only want to download you pics/video, and dont want to use it as a PC camera (webcam).
If your OS is looking for drivers, and the screen on the camera says "pc camera", then all you have to do is press the bottom centre button and the display will change to MSDC and then autoplay should pop up and ask what you want to do.
