My brother-in-law passed his old mini-dv cam to me but he lost the installation software. Anybody has it or can tell me where I can find it? Much appreciated...

They don't have the drivers either. Its seems that no one has these drivers. It really speaks ill of JVC to not maintain something like this. I regret ever paying the 500$ for this piece of junk.

The CD ROM contains a driver that is for both USB2 and IEEE394 (FireWire). I have looked for it elsewhere without success.
