The ALC888S, an advanced version of the ALC888, is a high-performance 7.1+2 Channel High Definition Audio Codec that meets Microsoft Windows Vista (WLP 3.08) premium requirements. It provides ten DAC channels that simultaneously support 7.1 sound playback, plus independent stereo sound output (multiple streaming) through the front panel stereo outputs. The ALC888S integrates two stereo ADCs that can support a stereo microphone, and feature Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC), Beam Forming (BF), and Noise Suppression (NS) technology.

hi jerry k ,do you have to pay for the realtek downloads from the site you have linked to get a download ,as i just keep getting same message 60 seconds on a count down then sorry timed out,try again ,i do but keep getting the same answer

Are you being prompted to pay a fee before you can download? As far as I know, this is a free file for anyone.

There is nothing wrong with the links. All are working just fine. If you don't have a premium membership with RS, then you must download as a "Free User". Free Users are limited to 1 ~ 3 downloads then you must wait awhile before you can start downloading again.

Once you click on the free user link, the 60 second timer will begin. At the end of the wait period, you can then click on the round circle with a down arrow in it. That will start the download sequence.
