The both drivers I've found here for my ADI 1980 chipset don't work, message: component not found or somethin' like that.

The sound driver provided with my MB doesn't work too, message: this installation program doesn't work with your OS. (normal, needs win98SE or more).

I've a motherboard integrated (Asus A7V8X-X) ADI 1980 sound chip and Win 98.

I finally found the way to use this f$!@#' ADI 1980 integrated sound chipset.

It's 2.00 AM, I'm too lazy and tired to write a HowTo, if you encountered the same issue, ask me (English/French).
