Optical drives do not require a driver when used in Windows XP. Microsoft designed the XP os (and all os's since Windows 95) to be that way. XP contains native support that allows this drive to read a data or music disk and to burn a cd-r disk. It doesn't contain any support for playing dvd disks. For that task, compatible dvd decoding software (like WinDVD or PowerDVD) is required.

My CD-R/DVD unit read only DVD...A virus has corrupt the driver...so I cannot re install Windows XP by CD...thatīs why I need the driver =)

Again, optical drives NEVER require a driver when used in Windows XP. A Windows XP installation cd is a bootable disk, the only requirement is a bios that supports booting from the optical drive. No drivers are required for this procedure.
