If you have DOS 6.22 installed, why are you asking for a Windows XP driver??? If you have DOS 6.22 installed, you don't need a Windows XP driver, you need a DOS driver to enable the drive.

Windows XP (if installed and running) doesn't require a driver. It provides it's own support for optical drives.

The only way (short of a DOS driver) is to have a system that supports booting from an optical drive. It doesn't sound like you have such a system. Some older systems just didn't have the optical drive booting option.

Like I said earlier, if you have dos installed and running you will need dos drivers (not Windows drivers). ie: mscdex.exe and xxxxx.sys. These files are on just about every boot disk made. If you don't have one you can get it at www.bootdisk.com
