Hi to everybody....

I have a problem with a PCI-USBVIA6212-3 (U-163 USb 2.0 3+1 port)controller card from ST Lab and a M748LMRT motherboard from PCChips.

The problem is that when I fisically install the card in the correspondent PCI slot and start the pc... it will stop at "CHECKING VRAM".... an will not go on.

I can't even enter the BIOS !!

Let me tell you that both motherboard and controller card are working perfectly... I tried the card on a M810 motherboard an on an old ACER Mate 1200 pc and in both cases it worked perfectly-.

My question is... is there a way to fix the problem? Or I have to change the card?

I tried to enter the ST Lab site for support, but the support site doesn't work !!

I'll appreciate any help.

Thanks

ST Labs UK site is working but no information on this USB card.

Try the USB PCI card in a different PCI slot.

Make sure you have the latest BIOS for your motherboard.
