I've lost my Photomax CD with my Polaroid PDC 640CF digital camera drivers on it. For some reason my computer is not recognizing my camera and I wanted to reinstall the software. couldn't find my cd so I got a driver from Polaroid's website and it still don't work. Gives me something about not being able to load ntkern.vxd. Does anybody have this specific software or can someone tell me how to get my computer to recognize my camera again...

You should have stated what operating system your running and how your digital camera connects to the pc along with information from Device Manager...
It's kinda difficult to help without that info... if it's Windows 98/98SE you probably have USB port problems. Check Device Manager to see if your usb port is working properly first... report back here with results and missing info.

Just thought you would like to know, I just explored my Photomax disk that I had from a long time ago.(model, I dont remember) But the file that you cant seem to find isnt on the disk.
But the good news is that I also lost mine and the company sent me another, free of charge... You might try that. When and if you get one Ide uninstall the program you are running and do a total new install.

I have the same Camera/and Photomax software when changing to XP Pro It no longer worked and Polaroid does not support XP with this camera. With 98se I still had some proplems as well not seeing the cam etc

i have same camara and software, running win 98 se. My twain driver seems to be missing and I can not find the one to work with my camara. It's not on the cd. So what do I do now? My camara plugd into a D shell port (I think thats what its called) but its a standard port on back of my pc
Would love any assistance.

I have the same problem. My software is for windows 95 and 98 and I have XP on my computer. How can I get the right software or get around this problem.
