Now i dont knopw if this has anything to do with windows 95 because i am not a coputer whiz, but can someone please help me with this issue in something that a begginer to computers can do thanx.

I have a packard bell windows 95 computer. I used the recovery diskette and restared the computer. Then, when i restarted it, it showed starting MS-DOS... and then a space and then it shows C:\>. IT never did this until i used the diskette. What is wrong. Can anybody tell me how to fix this in a fairly easy way to understand. Thanx

A recovery disc tells the computer that the operator wishes to restart windows. When C/: appears it is asking you in Dos what you would like to do. Do you have any win 95 o/s discs if you have place it in your d drive and type setup.exe this should run windows to factory condition. or type c/: win95 then press enter
