How would we know what would be considered an update when you failed to state what your current revision is? And you have not properly id'd your motherboard. VT82C692BX is only a chipset number. You have a Jetway /J994AN-L motherboard.

I don't, the mb I guessed is only ONE such mb containing such a chipset. I'm sure there are dozens others using the same chipset. Check the link to see if it matches or state what the bios id string is to verify.

VIA didn't make this motherboard, Jetway or J-Mark did. It only contains a VIA chipset.

I suspect the current bios in your motherboard is the latest bios. ie: V.993AS/993AN N11
