In working with some old files on an old computer that runs the old operating system Windows NT WorkStation 3.51, I accidentally deleted some files. Does anyone know of some utility like Undelete or Unerase that will help me recover those deleted files? The utility of course must work with Win NT 3.51.

Will be most grateful for any guidance.

there are several apps which do this. one of the best i have used is RunTimes "GetDataBack"

do not install this on the system with the deleted files, install it to a floppy and run from there. installing to the system may overwrite the deleted files

since this is nt 3.51 make sure you determine the filesystem used on the drive (it's either FAT or NTFS) before ordering a recovery program.
