Not until you include some usable informaton....
1: Windows operating system installed (I'm guessing 98 from your verion number)
2: Recording software/version installed or attempting to use.
3: How installed, when/where error occurred... exact steps, errors that appeared during installation (if any).
4: Type of drive and how installed & configured.
5: Information relating to other drives installed in system and how they are connected/configured.
6: Reports from device manager dealing with the drive and port connected to.
7: History of software/versions installed/uninstalled.
No information results in little or no help.

Thank you for the guidance!
I am not very well verse with computer information and not very sure where I can get the info...
1) Windows 98 Second Edition
2) Ahead Nero Express OEM version (Not sure what version as I don't have any drive to read the CD to check. Someone asked me to uninstall the software as it's supposed to help but after doing that, I have to download the latest NERO 6 from their website to install over again...)
3) Only have the TDK internal CDRW DRIVE 4800D
Plug into motherboard. Configure as Master...
It autodetected and was able to burn a few CDR...
4) Only other drives are Harddisk and Floppy disk which is using another IDE cable...
5) Device manager, CDROM says device is working properly...
6) Currently, when I put in any CDROM, there is a light that comes on and there is no detection of media and no spin...
7) Checking System information... shows problem device...
as shown in previous post about error...

Check in Device Manager first... under CD-ROM... is this the only device listed? If ok there then check under HARD DISK CONTROLLERS.... is everything there ok?
Remember that Windows os alone can only provide READ support of data or music disks. Recording software provides all the RECORDING support. In short, the recording software must be compatible with the drive and os. If it's not then you must obtain a patch or newer version.
