I purcashed the above described laptop, with "Vista" OS, but want to remove Vista and load "XP". I need drivers in order to succeed.

I suggest that before you perform this highly unrecommended procedure, you first check to see if drivers are available for XP. Normally when a system is not shipped with XP installed, finding drivers for another os is impossible.
