I'm working on my nieces' pc and she has a missing file w9xundo.*winlfnini. Any ideas where I can find this file for her ? It's a dell dimension 8100 and she had downloaded a spyware program that was badly infected with trojans. I've spent five days cleaning and trying to restore it for her.. But she had deleted some files think that would fix the problem. One of them was w9xundo.*winlfn.ini. I'd appreciate any help or advice.

The best way to start is to reload your Windows operating system disk. You won't lose any of your files or software and it may replace the missing files.

if you have the WIN ME installation disk that should have come with the computer place it in the CD-ROM drive and then go to start. search. files/folders set to look in the drive you have the disk in type what you are looking for and it should find it on the disk
