i lost my bios password on my Dell Optiplex GX240 need help.****

Man, there is a specific program to delete the password.
But you can open your computer and change the jump of the bios,after that, your bios password will be clean.

just turn off the power in the rear if I remember right dell has a jumper pull it off for a min, you may need to reset the cmos

turn of the power and remove power plug and then remove the memory card/stick will have the same efect as removeing the battery to reset bios to defaults take care with static and ground yourself first, (i.e touch a radiator to do that) this might not work for you but its a good start dont forget to reset the time in the bios on first run! ps (tip) windows over-rides the bios when loaded as the bios is only required to start windows!.
