Does anyone out there remember how the jumpers on this modem work?
I need to set it up as Com.2/IRQ-4 for this program to work with it.
Yup it's an old of a telephone paging service (in DOS no less) (but the Co. has no choice but to use it.) There are 14 sets of pins in a double row, and they are numbered 1 through 14 from the back of the computer to the front. There is also a second line of numbers that does not match up to the pins, it goes "IRQ-3 4 5 7 12 11 10" -The chipset is from Cirus Logic. Please help, I'm about to give up on it

If you put jumpers on 1 through 10, it's set up as plug and play.
IRQ3, jumper on 10
IRQ4, jumper on 9
IRQ5, jumper on 8
IRQ7, jumper on 7
IRQ10, jumper on 4
IRQ11, jumper on 5
IRQ12, jumper on 6

COM1, jumper on 11 and 12
COM2, jumper on 11 and 14
COM3, jumper on 12 and 13
COM4, Jumper on 13 and 14

Example COM2, IRQ3 Jumpers on 10, 11, and 14
Hope this helps you out.
