A win2000 pc was removed from my network and put into the workgroup now it can't be logged back onto the network because I've lost the admin password. I don't want to format as the user has valuable info on the c:\

Any ideas to sort this problem?

their are a utlity for breaking the password of admin,if you wish i can send you ,but you will have to pay the charges.

Best

Remove your drive.
Rebuild your system using win2k or win2kserver on a spare hard drive.
Save your data and then rebuild on the origional drive.
Simple!!!

i have the same thing but on my home computor, lost the admin password and need to get in to set for all, what else can i do
