Hello all, I am fixing an old friends VERY OLD PC...She has WIN95 Companion, I have no source to get the dossetup.bin, oemsetup.bin, oemsetup.exe, setup.exe, setup.txt, suhelper.bin and winsetup.bin files from another WIN95 installation...how do I get these files or how do I get around this!!??

you get around it by PURCHASING a used copy of Windows 95/98.
companion is NOT a install cd. it is a reference cd.
either a Full install cd or a upgrage cd (requires a valid proof of a previous OS/cd)
Ebay has many copies for sale quite cheap.

While your offers to help folks asking for copyrighted software are a nice gesture, what you're doing is illegal in the eyes of Bill Gates (owner of Microsoft) and are in direct violation of his copyrights. Companion CDs were a consumer rip-off.

"If that doesn't work, there's one trick I did a LONG time ago with the Companion CD.
The Companion CD is a Windows 95b CD without the setup.exe file. What I did was that
I used an older Windows 95 (first release) CD, ran the setup file, then replaced
that CD with the Companion CD when it wanted to run Scandisk. Worked like a charm "
