I bought a new pc with Vista Home Premium 34 bit version, and i tried unsuccessfully to load the driver from the hewlett packard website. I would be loathed to have to lose my scanner, can you help on this?

What's the problem? I have no trouble downloading from HP. They very rarely are ever down or offline?
