I need an adaptec aic 7856 driver for a scsi card, but thier seems to be no drivers available to download. The ones closest to campatibility doesn't work. Could you possibly find this driver. Oh yeah, a quick question. I built a computer about a month ago. Even though the floppy is installed and operates fine, It refuses to read any of the floppys I try to boot with. I switched the floppy drive 3 times, but the same error accures. Either the floppy always reads or it doesn't read the disk. I'm not placing the ide in backwards or anything like that. And the controller was already replaced. So what could possibly be the explanation? Does anyone work with linux around here. I'm having some major difficulties in installing suse. The system won't boot to linux because I'm having issues with the boot loader kernal. I've tried to reinstall but it freezes and locks on me. Thanks!
