I have an Info Peripherals FB745 Scanner. The company is now out of business and I want to set the email default to AOL instead of Outlook. Can I do this?

Also, I want to stop Internet Explorer POP-Ups but on my control panel on my HP Pavilion 6356, I do not have an "Administrative Services" or "Services" icon, where I can disable Messenger. Can I get some help on this?
