I need to know how to put drivers on a floppy that are larger than 1.44 megs,
i recently downloaded two different drivers for canon bjc-250 printer one for a little over 100k the second for 3.2megs the problem is the computer that the driver needs to go on does not have a cd-rom only 3.50in floppy, when i go to put the larger driver on a floppy, i get the driver is to large and if i could put it on a larger disk which i cant, the windows os is 3.11, which is different that the computer than i'm using at the moment, thanks for help and time.

Use WinZip program. You can write the 3.2 mb file to 3 floppys using the SPAN method in WinZIP. After doing so, you then have to unzip those 3 floppies to the pc with a floppy drive. It will first ask you to insert disk #3. After doing so, it will then prompt you to insert disk #1 again. It will read the contents, prompt you to insert disk #2, then finally disk #3. You now have the 3.2 mb file on the pc needing the driver. You can then run it from the hard drive. WinZIP can be downloaded free from www.winzip.com
