You must install a driver for those flagged devices. If you need some help locating and identifying, please download, install, and run the following software program:
To find make and model of pc hardware, EVEREST Home Edition is a free system diagnostics, system information program that will id most hardware onboard a mb.
http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/Everest-Home-Edition.shtml
Alternate Everest download link: (offers 2 sites to dl program from)
http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/EVEREST-Home-Edition-Download-16369.html
Run the program and then:
Click on Computer
Click on Summary
Right hand window (hardware) if the text is blue this is a link to the web site for that particular hardware.
If you need additional help, please post a SUMMARY report from Everest.

So.... to make sound and video work, install the respective drivers. Does 10K plus posts sound like I don't know what I'm talking about? Guess that means I must bable a lot.
You have still failed to properly id your hardware. We can bable all week but that's not going to cure your video and sound problem. ID the hardware.
dude the sound is working now though i downloaded one of the sound driver from the link that u gave me and it's working properly now.tnx....

Network or NIC (network interface card), ethernet, LAN all mean the same thing.
Please do as advised in earlier posts. Describe the hardware or use the Everest software and post a Summary. I don't have a clue what NIC HP installed in your pc. There are Intel and Broadcom both listed on the HP links I provided earlier. Why not choose the one that matches your hardware?
