USB hard drives do not require any driver. They do require a working usb port. Microsoft included USB 1.1 support with the os. USB 2.0 support comes from installing SP1 or higher. By default all usb drivers needed for XP are written to your hard drive in a file: DRIVER.CAB which usually resides in the \i386 folder. I see no reason why you'd need any installation disk. What exactly is the system calling for?

and "I:\My Documents\lori79 emachine 500a\Emachines EMonster 500a 500 MHz Pentium III Desktop Specifications, Information and Product Details at BizRate .mht" is not an internet link.
