Your drive has an IDE interface (not scsi) and it doesn't require any driver when used in Windows XP. If you care to state what problem your having, perhaps we can offer some assistance.

If your firmware revision is <1.10, updating it might improve the reading performance of the drive. It's available from Sony here:
