Looking for Vista USB driver for the JVC Everio GZ-MG505 Harddisk camcorder.

Vista detects camcorder as a GZ-MG505 but cannot find any drivers.

I've answered my own request :)

The drivers are actually included with Vista itself....its just a case of pointing the install to C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore --- logical really, but I was expecting the drivers to be found automatically. :hdspin: but you have to tell it where to find them!

Certainly worth a try for anyone looking for any drivers that were included/available in XP SP2 and now have Vista.
