View Full Version : Is there such thing as a "driver auto-detect" to determine my soundcard?

can somebody help me, i need to know if theres an auto detect driver thingy out there, cause i had my computer ghosted, so EVERYTHING is gone, i need to know what model it was, but the hardware should still be there, it was a preinstalled comp so i dont know how it went together, if anyone could help that would be great. Thank you.

Please explain your term "ghosted". Then describe your harware/motherboard if you expect any help. :sleep:

Hai Nelson

I am Prasad from India. I used system agent software to know the
Hardware present in my system. After knowing the Exact Hardware
in my system I started searching the net for corresponding drivers.

If your system is booting even without correct drivers in normal
mode, my advice is to try with this software.

I got it through one of our Indian Computer Magazine PC QUEST which
gives a CD Every month. This is a freeware developed by
Mr. Dinesh Kumar. Here I am giving his e-mail ID:
