please help me.
i lost my cd driver for my gericom blockbuster2 notebook.

i got a lot of viruses,anti-spyware and things like that and i want to re format my notebook.
my mp3 i not even working now. i doesnt read a cd/mp3 anymore. how am i going to make it work?

please anybody i need your help!!!

You didn't say but it sounds like you've already formatted. When/if you do, your cd drive will no longer work without DOS drivers to enable it. Those drivers can be found on any Windows Emergency Boot Disk. If you don't have one, go to www.bootdisk.com and download one.

If you still have Windows running and your drive isn't detected, then you need to perform the "delete upper and lower filters fix". You can find instructions for doing that in many of the threads below yours.

Look in Device Manager and tell us what it says about your cd drives and ide controllers.
