Please could you find me the original motherboard drivers for this board in order for me to properly install the ethernet controller, the multimedia audio controller and the sm bus controller. I have looked and looked and to no avail. The computer did not come with the original disk and the motherboard is since discontinued. The asus website does not seem to be supporting this motherboard with drivers either.

Many thanks

David

drivers for Intel chipsets can normally be downloaded from the Intel website, likewise for sound drivers like Realtek and ADI. If Asus no longer provides these drivers then look to each chipset manufacturer respectively. Here's a software that not only will id what the hardware is but will often give you a link to where the driver is:

To find make and model of pc hardware, EVEREST Home Edition is a free system diagnostics, system information program that will id most hardware onboard a mb.

http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/Everest-Home-Edition.shtml

Run the program and then:

Click on Computer
Click on Summary
Right hand window (hardware) if the text is blue this is a link to the web site for that particular hardware.

If you require additional help, please include a copy & paste of the Everest Summary report with your next post.
