all links were non useable for me. crashed drive & had to put in new one(used) for my gateway "essential"pentium system. i got pwr to the unit but my usb port access can't find drivers. unfortunately i lost the boot disk & failed to have a backup copy of system. also the system hasn't made a (e)drive letter either for me to access. thank you

USB drives do not require any drivers when used in Windows ME/2000/XP. If your drive is not recognized automatically, you have a bad drive, bad cable, or a non-working usb port.
