You need to identify your motherboard by brand, model, and/or bios id string and better yet, include the audio chipset number. If you don't know then use one of these methods:

To find make and model of pc hardware, EVEREST Home Edition is a free system diagnostics, system information program that will id most hardware onboard a mb.

http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/Everest-Home-Edition.shtml

Run the program and then:

Click on Computer
Click on Summary
Right hand window (hardware) if the text is blue this is a link to the web site for that particular hardware.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
An alternative program is Belarc Advisor from www.belarc.com (a little more simple to use than Everest but not as good about identifying a place to find the driver).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A 3rd program is AIDA32 it's a professional system information, diagnostics and benchmarking program for Windows platforms. It extracts details of all components of the PC. It can display information on the screen, print it, or save it to file in various formats like HTML, CSV or XML. For corporate users, AIDA32 Enterprise offers command-line switches, network audit and audit statistics, remote system information and network management. You can choose your download link from here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download183.html
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Post a report of whatever program you choose to use back in this thread (if you need further help).
