HSP is not a modem manufacturer nor is 56k Micro Modem a model #.

HSP = Host Signal Processing (a term used to descibe cheap modems that depend on the external processor in the pc to do their job rather than have it's own processor like good quality hardware modems do)

56K Micro Modem = all this is saying is that the modem operates at 56k speed.

I suggest you take about 2 minutes to read our Modem Help Guide (www.driverguide.com/guide2/modem-help.htm)

Then after doing so, perhaps you can tell us a valid Brand, Model #, FCC ID #, and the chipset used.
