Internal drives cannot have a USB interface. Before that's possible, you must mount an internal ide or scsi interfaced drive in an external USB, SCSI, or Parallel Port enclosure then connect that enclosure to a USB (or SCSI or Parallel) port. However, scsi (nor parallel port) drives or being manufactured any longer.

The SC-148C has an ATAPI/IDE interface and does not require a driver when used in any Windows os from Windows 95 up. The Windows 2000 os provides native support for this drive.

Please state what your problem is.
