I formatted my HDD because i was having a lot of problems with windows 98 SE and office. i re installed all the applications (it was a mess) my system wouldn't recognize my modem, sound-card, etc. it is fixed now.
But still, i own a samsung 10 GB HDD and in BIOS it's OK but in windows (my computer) shows me tha my HDD it's only 1.99 GB. What should i do to repair that? thanks

put in start up disk restart pc. type fdisk and choose option 4 to view your hd you may have to delete all partitions to get your hd back to full.

also note that failing to select FAT 32 will make the drive use FAT 16 which HAS a 2gig partition limit
